New series started!

Woooooo!

Finally finished a painting I've been puttering about on since May. It's in a folk-art style in a Buddhist Mandala-type format.

There's a twist though: the imagery isn't what you might normally find in folk art, such as hearts, flowers, little dutch children. :) The colours are as well much more garish.

I absolutely loved created this piece and will be starting another very soon.

I graduated from the Fine Arts department at the University of Waterloo in 2007 and have been working towards getting into a Master's program. I want to share the art world with enthusiastic, creative people and therefore want to become a Prof. in the field.
This may take a couple years :S but I am driven and want it badly enough, so it will happen eventually.
